Abstract


The economy of China has been developing rapaidly since its reforming and open with the growth of the GDP in constant prices increasing113times from1980to2012,the gross production expanding several times, creating the world miracle of economic development history. But behind the economic growth rate, there are many problems including a series of economy and social problems, such as excessive resource consumption environmental pollution and the widening gap between rich and poor. The most serious one of these problems is the mode of economy development, and the transformation of the mode of economic development has increasingly become the primary task of maintaining China’s sustained and rapid economic growth. In the process of the transformation of the mode of economy development, the economic structure adjustment is in the core position. Economic structure including many structural problems, for example,This article argues two pressing problems in demand structure adjustment in China at the current time: how to adjust the proportion of foreign demand and domestic demand structure, making national economy operating as a whole more reasonable and smooth; how to adjust the foreign demand structure, making the exporting goods more competitive. This article mainly studies the relationship between the external demand structure and domestic demand structure, and studies how to adjust the domestic and foreign demand structure under the background of structure, optimizing the structure of export products, realizing the resource optimal allocation of external export sector in our country, finally balancing the task of the transformation of development mode, adjusting the structure, and promoting development.This paper firstly reviewed the relevant literature and theory, and then analyzed the overall size characteristics of domestic demand and foreign demand, finding that it has been domestic demand oriented mode of development for more than30years since we began to reform and open up, then analyzed the domestic demand and foreign demand structure respectively, finding that it has been unbalancing between the investment demand and consumption demand since2004, while the foreign demand structure has been optimizing and improving. Then, we applied the tool of VAR empirical methods to analysis the mutal influence of the structure of domestic demand and foreign demand structure, finding that the foreign demand structure will affect the domestic demand structure. Finally, further analyzed the specific factors of the domestic structure affecting foreign demand structure, finding that the factors as the level of the consumption of urban households has the positive impact on the structure of export products, meanwhile the investment performance has the negative impact.
