Abstract


Abstract: Self-innovation becomes the key point of enterprises all over the world.In order to make a profit in the market, enterprises should improve competitiveness. It isa fundamental and strategic task of long-term development to promote enterprises’innovation ability. As a developing country, China still faces troubles internally andexternally in self-innovation.Starting from reviewing research findings of self-innovation and analyzingEuropean, American and Asian experience, SWOT analysis is made on self-innovationability of industrial enterprises in China. Aiming at improving self-innovation ability ofindustrial enterprises in Sichuan, Yibin Grace Co., Ltd. is researched. Grace Co., Ltd.builds a series of innovation idea, management system and R&D system. The enterpriseprotects and uses property right, speeds up achievement transformation and cooperateswith university and research institute. Besides, it selects, cultivates and evaluatesinnovative talents. These measures help to upgrade industries and win in the market athome and abroad.Based on the analysis, six suggestions are made: first, build stuff engagedinnovation consciousness; second, set up high-level R&D institution of the enterprise;third, make full use of property rights; fourth, deepen enterprise-university-researchinstitute cooperation; fifth, enhance innovation talents management; sixth, raiseinnovation money in different ways. These measures are supposed to developself-innovation ability of industrial enterprises in Sichuan.
