Abstract


Although China encourages the use of new energy, but coal resources in Chineseenergy structure still occupies the dominant position. The coal industry is affected bymacroeconomic and regulatory policies, the reasonable financing structure becomes thebasis for sustainable development of coal industry, effective performance reflects thecoal industry’s effect of restructuring and integration. Therefore, it is significant to studythe relationship between capital structure and business performance of China’s coalindustry in the transformation and the spanning development test.The capital structure and performance study theory is as the starting point, and thepaper analyses the present situation of coal performance in China; Secondly，choose33coal listing corporation as the sample from the stock mar-kets of Shanghai andShenzhen，and collect the annual report and related report data from2010to2012,factor analysis is carried out using the SPSS software to find reflects the quantizationperformance of China Coal listing Corporation value;Finally， establish regressionmodels between capital structure and corporate performance of quantization values，and regression analysis was carried out using Eviews software. The results of this studyshow that the company’s DAR was positively associated with the businessperformance，CR1is positive correlation with business performance， the LTG and thecorporate performance is negatively related， company size and CR10were withoutsignificant effects on performance; Finally，put forward some suggestions based on theresults of regression analysis like resonable controling the internal source capital andoutside loans ratio，to enrich the capital market the proportion of shares in circulation，to implement the interests of small shareholders and to innovate financing channels.This paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction, whichintroduces the research background, significance of this paper, research native andabroad were reviewed, and the research frame of this method;The second part is therelated capital structure and business performance of the theory is introduced, which theinfluence on capital structure enlightenment business performance through theoreticalanalysis;The third part analyzes the present situation of coal industry transformation ofdescriptive and capital structure in china;The fourth part of the empirical analysis of thesample firms and obtained some results; The fifth part is a conclusion according to the operation results, and puts forward the counter measures on the problems related tomodify.
