Background and Purpose In recent years, a growing number of clinical studies and from the results of animal experiments indicate that elevated levels of serum uric acid is an independent risk factor for hypertension. Currently on serum uric acid and blood pressure levels of uric acid on the correlation and the predictive value of essential hypertension has been more relevant reports, and for patients already diagnosed with hypertension, uric acid levels are affecting its basic drug antihypertensive therapy reaction is less reported, so this article through retrospective analysis of inpatient basis uric acid levels in patients with hypertension and their blood pressure decrease during hospitalization and blood pressure, etc. Status investigate the relationship between serum uric acid to drug antihypertensive therapy response. Methods Fujian Provincial Hospital from August 2007 to September 2009 period as the primary diagnosis of hypertension and met the inclusion criteria for the study of 1650 cases, using multiple regression analysis method to evaluate the level of uric acid in patients on medication during hospitalization antihypertensive treatment response. Results ⑴ hyperuricemia associated with body mass index in patients with hypertension, dyslipidemia proportion of baseline and target systolic blood pressure (diastolic pressure) differential, serum creatinine, blood pressure and other aspects of drug type and dose group was significantly higher than normal uric acid ( P lt; 0.05), while the estimated glomerular filtration rate and blood pressure was significantly lower than the standard rate of uric acid in the normal group (P lt; 0.001); ⑵ serum uric acid levels and body mass index, total cholesterol, triglycerides, blood urea nitrogen , serum creatinine, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and other positive correlation (P lt; 0.05), with high-density lipoprotein, estimated glomerular filtration rate was negatively correlated (P lt; 0.001); ⑶ by multiple linear regression analysis , After adjustment for age, basic systolic (diastolic) and the target systolic blood pressure (DBP) difference, history of diabetes, smoking history, family history, body mass index, lipid metabolism, duration of hospitalization, drug antihypertensive strength and chronic kidney disease After the male patients with hyperuricemia in patients with hyperuricemia than non decline reduced systolic 4.75mmHg (95% CI: -6.90,-2.60mmHg), women 3.35mmHg (95% CI: -5.49,-1.22mmHg ); decrease in diastolic blood pressure decreased, but no statistically significant. ⑷ rate of blood pressure during hospitalization increased levels of uric acid with base decreased by logistic regression analysis adjusted for these factors, the patients with hyperuricemia compliance during hospitalization can increase the risk of male highest quartile compared with the lowest quartile group bit group OR = 2.089 (P lt; 0.05), 1.439 for females, but no statistical significance. Conclusions Serum uric acid levels in patients with hypertension can reduce hospitalizations for antihypertensive therapy. Based on the higher levels of uric acid, the decrease in blood pressure during hospitalization smaller, lower blood pressure, compliance rate, that is a reaction to the drug antihypertensive therapy worse.
