Abstract


Countries around the world had been in different levels of economic slowdownor even recession since economic crisis in2008. The traditional leading industriesincluding internet, real estate, financial industry those promoting effection on theeconomy are weakened significantly. States are all seeking new economic growthpoint. In this context, the comprehensive construction and promotion of Internet ofThings are put on the agenda. However, the research on Internet of Things industry ofour country at present is still in the conceptual and local application stage, the truescale of the industry has not yet formed. In the process of growth of The Internet ofThings, we will encounter many obstacles such as the form of industrial chain isincomplete, the relationship of cooperation and competition is not clear, the individualinterests of the industrial member companies are inconsistent with the collectiveinterests, the immaturity of the market lead to the friction of market transactions, lackof innovation. However, the domestic research for the Internet of Things is still in themacro outlook, building of industry chain, exploring the application of specificindustry. But research less for its growth. Therefore, this paper chooses theperspective of the design of mechanism to research the growth of Internet of Things.First, review and summarize the theory of industrial chain, the present situationof Internet of Things and its development trend, its architecture and applicationthrough the inspection of the relevant literature data. On this basis, this paper analysisthe industrial chain of Internet of Things and its relationship of cooperation andcompetition.Then, we can find several issues through series of analysis of marketmechanisms this stage. Firstly, in the mechanism of entering and exiting, membersdetermine their production scale according to equilibrium conditions which maximizetheir own value. But, this conduct may be not favorable for the whole industry. Inother words, when the behavior of manufacturers maximize their own interests, it ispossible to damage the interests of the whole industry. Secondly, the immaturity of themarket lead to the friction of market transactions. Thirdly, at this stage, Internet ofThings enterprises in our country lack a sense of innovation and innovative power.However, innovation is a fundamental driving force for the development of TheInternet of Things as a typical high-tech industry. Based on the above problems, thispaper presents the mechanism of distribution of benefits and coordination, mechanism of information sharing, mechanisms of promoting trust and mechanism of promotinginnovation as a complement of the market mechanism according to mechanism designtheory. Finally, form a growth mechanism system, which based on the marketmechanism, supplied by above-mentioned four mechanisms.Finally, this paper provides some policy advices to the relevant policy-makingdepartments, based on the build system of growth mechanism.
