Abstract


This research contents the condisitons of international economic integration, benefits, and obligations in relation with WTO integration.The athor identifies sectoral specification of Russian economy and competitive advantage of industry in foreign markets. There is an analsis of the global and Russian market of metals. It contains:1) research on the Russian sector of non-ferrous metal;2) current state of the industry under the impact of the financial crisis;3) general conclusions on the development of the metal trade in the Russia.In the practical part of the research the athor using GTAP model to determine the effects of Russia’s accession to the WTO on its industry. Developed method is based on GTAP simulations of the country’s accession to the WTO and has forecast scenarios of the operation of export-oriented industries
