Abstract


Asset securitization is an important and fast developed financial innovation indirect finance in the world financial field. Asset securitization aims atredesigning and selling the illiquid assets including loans or assets portfolio inorder to improve liquidity and the operational efficiency of capital. As workingcapital is highly concentrated in the banking industry in China for long, assetsecuritization has become an innovation in relocating risk and assets to dissolvethe bank credit risk. Asset securitization was firstly launched in China in2005.Due to the international financial crisis, it was suspended in2008and thenafter4years it was restarted in2012. Although it is still at the primary stage inChina, the laws and regulations supporting asset securitization issued by thesupervision departments which indicates the intent of promoting financialinnovation as well as a promising future of asset securitization in China. In thiscontext, combining the working practice, the article was focus on the study ofasset securitization.Firstly the article comprehensively expounds the form and development,the understanding and the application of asset securitization, as well aseffectively analyzes and summarizes this hot issue. Secondly, it introduces themature overseas asset securitization markets including the markets in the UnitedStates, Europe and Japan and asset securities there. At the same time, the articlecompares and reviews the development process of the securitization and productdesign in our country. The article is ended by stating the main business model used by the assetmanagement corporations and analyzing the key elements and risk control indetails through a case, and combined with the theoretical research, exploring thefuture direction for the asset management corporations in asset securitization inour country.
