Abstract


So far the development of smart card has around20years in China, with thecontinuous improvement of the smart cards on the technology applications and highpopularizing rate aspects, the smart card yield also entered a high-speed developmentperiod, and widely applied to telecom, medical, social security, financial, traffic,transportations, public security, sports and other fields, high demands and rely on thefield of smart cards for foregoing areas, G company as a senior supplier in the smartcards field, improve the capacity of company and keep to provide the good productsto meet customers’ requests have become the inevitable choice.This paper is applied the six sigma management method as the instruction,through the application of DMAIC process to make potentials of G company found, toimprove the production efficiency with existing resources, but not invest anyadditional equipments and human resources as major premise, at the same time keepthe quality of the products to be good level, and make customer satisfaction.The finding through the study and analysis that, there exist a capacity bottleneckprocess in U-cell production line, to improve the efficiency of this process will bebeneficial of total capacity of company, so that the company can get moreopportunities in the continuous enlarged market, thus diluted the manufactured costsand profits increase. And also to keep the quality and properties of the products to bea unchanged status and, keep customers with a high satisfaction.The core of project deployment is that, to organize the project members to findout the influencing factors by fishbone diagram and brain storm method used, throughthe FMEA, hypothesis testing, Pareto-diagram to filter the un-influencing factors andfind out the target factors, and then by DOE used to screen the factors on theinteraction and significance tests, and get significant factor(s) with optimal values,finally review and evaluation results to get the economic benefits.The success of the project development and implementation, and makes thedirect economic benefits happened for the company, make the production capacity ofsmart cards increased for the company, to expand the market share and consolidatethe market position.
