Abstract


The double marginality of colony and empire caused Lessing Marginal status and caused her works showing distinctive style in Her literary creation she Constantly opened up new areas from attention to the reality to exploration of the inner world of women science fiction attempts .then Come back to reality her works varies in all kinds of themes. Which Invariably showed her deep thoughts and serious concern about the destiny of mankind and which permeated with her strong sense of moral responsibility. This article discussed four aspects of Lessing and the creation of marginal.First Lessing’s Marginal status. Her childhood was spent in the British colonies in Africa ,colony caused Lessing’s Marginal status This Marginalized childhood left unforgettable memories of a writer.As Stendhal said"Childhood is not the end”.when she returned to the center of the Empire in London as a single mother from the colonial in order to survive competition, Class and gender differences caused she abandoned a major political narrative and Presented outside the mainstream of alternative modernity in the perishable world.Next the peripheral characters in her works are also evident.Such as<No.19 Room> Susan looks happy, Can not afford real-life depression and life’s harsh distress at last she choosed to end her own lives.<Love, Again> Sarah was glamorous who desired the love and has strong personality Because of age she has been deprived of the right to love and be loved."The old woman and the Cat”Old woman who was abandoned by children "The Golden Notebook”portrays faithfully existent Straits and difficult choice of Inteelectual Women in the city and homosexuals.Then. Lessing emphasize content and form of the corresponding novel She was good at using the variety of narrative strategies To carry out the marginalization of Creation . This article explored three main aspects about her marginalized choice which reflected in the narrative art . first the use of multiple narrative perspectives second Use of Symbolism last Description of a large number of dreams.Finally ,The paper analyzed practical and cultural significance of Doris Lessing’s Marginalized Writing.The advent of marginal figure is the production of times and social development .show loving care for the reality life, and great perception of social problem. In a culture sense, marginal figures reflected the writer’s deep Humane care, contemporary intellect pursuit for conscious Independence . it representsed her recognition of diversified values ,which emphasized cultural diversity, compatibility Mutual Complementarity .marginalized Writing broked away unilateral thought of polar opposites, it added some new flavor to current culture, thus brought exuberant vitality for Cultural developments.With regard to the Marginal aspects of Lessing some commentators have also been discussed But they all discussed the marginal characters in her several novel But There is no systematic study of Creation of the marginal. so I am dedicated to a more systematic tidy of creation of the marginal as much as possible . I carried on both sides of the internal causes and external reflection source of Lessing’s creation of marginal Marginal Man and narrative strategy.In this way make a comprehensive summary of the causes of marginalization and reflection of research object as much as possible . on this point is my innovation. With present popularization of multi-culture study Lessing marginalisation has a strong theoretical and practical significance.
