Abstract


With economic development, society’s progress as well as livingstandards have improved, the packing has become an intrinsic part ofPeople live and trade. Product packaging design is very important forcorporate branding and Increasing sale, so it is drawing increasingattention .Product packaging design is the approach of product to achievetransformation and use value of , has the dual attributes of commodity andartistic , is a subject of a colligated frontier study. This paper is based onthe system design theory, analyse on harmonization of elements of productand form of packaging design, mainly discussing modern packagingdesign should follow product to make reasonable system and to meet thechanges in the demand of the costumers by harmonization of elements ofproduct and form of packaging design.This paper expounds the environment of modern packaging designand analyzes the theoretic source and the meaning of the subject. Withsocial context of science and culture, analyzes the harmonization ofproduct and form of packaging design with viewpoints of systems design.At first, proceed from commodity nature of product , analyzes the featureand development tendency of modern packaging design by the systemdesign theory. Secondly, based on the theory and instances, proceed frommutual demand relation of circulatory system of“human-product- packaging”, discussing harmonization of product packaging design with own designpractice. At last, this paper gives a perspective of the direction of theresearch.This paper explores the harmonization of product and form ofpackaging design from the point of systems design, it is the supplement ofthe theory of modern packaging design, it can also broaden the idea ofmodern packaging design, promote the benign development for thepackaging industry and economic society.
