The acceleration of urbanization causes the urban population increased,land scale expanding, Obvious contradiction between human and land, these bring a worse urban ecological environment, people begin to seek ways to solve the contradiction an maintain the city healthy development. Under this background, more and more people pay attention on the construction of the urban green open space; Green open space can not only beautify urban landscape, provide leisure activity places for residents, improve the ecological environment, but also demonstrate the city culture.Based on landscape ecology theory, sustainable development theory, carbon oxygen balance theory, green inhabitation environment theory, and using data analysis method, On-the-spot investigation method, survey research methods, this paper takes green open space layout in Tangshan city center for research. First of all, based on the three evolution stages of the urban space in Tangshan city center, combining the master plan of Tangshan city, this article analyzes the area evolution characteristic of green open space layout, the distribution evolution characteristic of green open space layout ,the system of green open space layout, and so on, Then analyzes the main factors which influence the green open space layout in Tangshan city center from the aspects of policy, economy, nature, Urbanization, culture, and predict the development tendency of green open space layout in Tangshan city center.Analyzing the current situation of parks, waterfront spaces, squares, which are the major forms of green open space layout in Tangshan city center, this paper reveal there are many problems of the green open space layout in Tangshan city center, just as poor continuity, low accessibility, the lack of space vigor. Then synthesize influence factors and the development trend, the author puts forward the optimization strategy. The author considers that: Tangshan should optimize the green open space layout from the aspect of continuity, accessibility, space vigor, etc. In order to strengthen the center city green open space continuity, the suburban wedge green space and the urban internal green corridor must be constructed. Make the full use of plaque-forming green, and based on urban land and the population distribution, the quantity and proportion of Green open space should be optimized. When we plan the layout of the green open space, the integration between the function of other construction land and green open space should be paid more attention to promote the vigor of green open space.
