Abstract


Residential space is the most important part of the modern city environment. There is no doubt that the economic development and the social progress have had the huge influence and the impact to the contemporary Chinese, and also reflect at the pursuit of the residential environment quality. People long for the function can be more convenient using, feeling more comfortable, more humane and more personalized for living environment. This article refers to the scenery of the residential environment as the research object. In the light of the problems of the domestic residential scenery design, trying to use the garden on the Yangtze Delta into the modern residential landscape environment, not only strive to improve the living quality of the city residential environment, but also inherit and carry forward the Chinese excellent traditional culture. This paper firstly analyzes and summarizes the current situation and problem of our domestic residential environment, clarify that the modern Chinese eager to having the living environment. Then analyze the essence of the garden on the Yangtze Delta, analyze the characteristics of the cultural connotation, the inside information of spirit and the origin of the thoughts. After that compare with the garden on the Yangtze Delta and the modern landscape design in the spirit of the times, the aesthetic consciousness, the design objects, designers and so on. Find both the differences and connections. Finally, try to make the traditional gardening essence into the design of modern city residential landscape with both the design concept and design elements. To explore a new way of Chinese culture and humanistic spirit, that is more suitable for Chinese landscape design.
