Abstract


Objective:To observe the effect of entecavir and thymosin al treatment HBeAg positive chronic patitis B patients.Methods:87 HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B patients who visited to our hospital were recruited divided into combination group (42 pationgs) and single-use group (45 pations).42 patients of combination group were treated with the initial use both entecavir (a daily dose of 0.5mg) and thymosin al (1.6μg H Biw) for 24 weeks, then stopping thymosin al and continue to 48 weeks of entecavir (a daily dose of 0.5mg).45 patients of single group were gived ofentecavir (a daily dose of 0.5mg) for 48 weeks. Testing the recovery rate of ALT, HBV DNA negativeconversion rate, HBeAg/anti-HBe seroconversion rate, liver fibrosis combined, fibroscan score at the treatment 24 weeks and 48 weeks of the two groups.Results:At 24 weeks there were no difference in the recovery rate of ALT between the two groups (P> 0.05), There were respectively significant differences between the two group patients both HBeAg seroconversion rates and HBV DNA negative rate at 24 weeks,48 weeks (P<0.05). The levels of liver fibrosis indexes(HA, LN, PⅢP,Ⅳ-collagen)and fibroscan score decreased significantly after treatment for 48 weeks of two treatment groups, The differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).No adverse reaction was reported during the treatment.Conclusions:Entecavir and thymosin al for HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B have a good safety and tolerability, the combination group in the rate of ALT normalization, HBeAg seroconversion and HBV DNA negative rate, the efficacy of hepatic fibrosis is significantly superior to the entecavir group alone.
