Abstract


With the drastic competition of global economy, it force enterprise to find a optimal production management and inventory control technology to improve the competitive power. In recent years, the manufacturing company are under highest survival pressure with the word wild financial crisis .it become the important way to improve competitive power and viability that to reduce the production cost and inventory cost , improve turnover rate of funds,shorten delivery period and improve service level .Production planning management can be helpful to reduce the cost ,which can effect all internal cost of manufacturing company .This paper takes A company as the research object, analyzing current favorite kinds production management methods and inventory control model, by considering A company’s actual production management and production operation, to find out the problems on the current production planning stage and inventory management. This paper use scientific methods to make researches base on these questions. Based on the characteristics of the production technology and production line, and under the further analysis of the relevant data, this paper points out to set up relevant production management methods by basing on different production line types. It also uses this method to instruct production planning to get the result of stock reduction, production efficiency improvement and supply availability improvement. The main idea is to optimize three kinds of production plan by three levels: In the production plan management level, using continuous production line of MRPII production management mode guiding the production plan , section production line is used with the combination of TOC JIT production management mode guiding the production plan ; In the main production plan level, through the integration of the similar products in the box to combine the demand of the specification role, through the timely adjustment of product production line to improve production in the supply of flexibility; In the specific production plan level, optimizing the continuous production line’s production batch. Through the production plan optimization to improve inventory rationality, and at the same time, through the improved inventory classification structure to achieve the inventory optimization. This paper also uses actual application to verify the production planning and inventory optimization.In this paper, relative study and idea is not only good for production system and inventory improvement of A company ,but also can be reference for anther enterprise’s improvement .
