Abstract


Fengsutongyi which was about the folk custom of the Han Dynasty was written by Ying Shao in later Donghan Dynasty. This book was widely involved in many aspects of society, such as social relationships, genie, sacrificial rites, music and so on, can better reflect the real language appearance of Donghan Dynasty, which has a high value of the research. The new words in Fengsutongyi are the study objects, and the thesis also points out some defects on collecting lemmas, glozing meanings enumerating examples and so on in the Great Chinese Dictionary. I hope the work can supply some valuable materials for the revision of the Great Chinese Dictionary.
