Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore the internal structure of the parallel structure and grammatical features in the framework of generative grammar. Generative grammar scholars follow the basic principles of the theory of X'-established as parallel structure the the conjunctions phrase \The conjunction phrase is the central word coordinating conjunctions (such as English and Or, but) the maximum projection. In conjunction phrase conjunctions are language, tied for the item in deixis and complement position. Of conjunction phrases with which Xinyu is consistent in scope. Today, the concept of conjunctions phrase for the growing number of linguists accepted, but the grammatical features coordinating conjunctions and parallel structures there are still much controversy. This article describes the various syntactic performance of parallel structure, verify the center of coordinating conjunctions language status and conjunctions phrase of the internal structure and contrast based on the contradiction between the study the classical theory of generative grammar and Johannessen (1998) program, pointed out Johannessen (1998) in the presence of some of the problems. Then discuss other related issues on the basis of further explored the problem of coordinating conjunctions and parallel structure grammatical features, pointed out that the performance of the parallel structure of syntactic subcategorization requirements of conjunctions, Conjunctions, and tied for items common to follow some of the requirements that coordinate conjunctions should have their own characteristics, and may be characterized in [COOR, ± PL, F]. Collectively, these features provide possible solutions for some of the problems associated with the parallel structure of grammatical features proposed.
