Abstract


The collection of short stories, \Anderson concentrated in the novel vividly describes the industrial revolution , the ordinary vicissitudes of the marketplace of life in a fictional Midwestern town . The novel bypassed the city people's material life , more attention to people 's inner world . The seemingly quiet life behind a sad story , the meanders story after the dolphin alone the mind can not help but bursts sigh . George Willard is the hero of the whole story set series , a seemingly separate story . By his personal experience , readers witness the sufferings of the people of the town . Anderson through a unique narrative and creative skills , the story speaks eloquently enough , while made ??to force people to silence artistic effect . Abandoned the practice of past Anderson works from the perspective of feminism, Freudian psychoanalysis , narratology as the starting point , respectively, from the narrator , narrative perspective on its unique narrative strategy , through examples Anderson 's writing style and narrative style of study and discussion.
