Abstract


In recent years, the situation of the mental health of university students has become the focus of attention of the University psychologist, social researcher. Loneliness become an important aspect of university students’psychological problems, and the various of psychological and behavioral obstacles which due to loneliness have a serious impact on social adaptation and individual development.In this study, I analysis the Influencing factors of loneliness through Literature Review Act, and selected personality variables as internal factors, parental rearing styles as external factors to explore the Relationship of Personality, Parenting style and Loneliness.I suggest that the interventions of loneliness should be the combination of prevention, adaptation and training. The most critical is paying great attention to Parenting style to prevent the emergence of a sense of loneliness. In addition, it should be set up Theory and Practice system from the integration of psychology, education and ecology-oriented to enhance the skills and improve the interpersonal relationships.In the course of the study, I put "Parenting Style Scale, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (adult version) and Loneliness Scale (UCLA third edition) into a questionnaire, and selected 200 university students from two of the Harbin Universitise as samples through Stratified random sampling method. I used SPSS16.0 to collect and analysis data.The results revealed that:(1) In this study, the score of loneliness was significantly higher than the national norm of university students; the significant major difference was found in loneliness, arts students were higher than science students.(2) There was a significant negative correlation between the feelings of loneliness and the introversion-extroversion, but the longliness was positively correlated with P (psycholepsy) and N (neuroticism); Feelings of loneliness were negatively correlated with parental "warmth and understanding" but positively correlated to stern punishment and rejection of parents; P (psycholepsy) and N (neuroticism) were significantly correlated with mother’s Parenting style in the Eysenck personality factors.(3) Both N (neuroticism) and introversion-extroversion are the dimensions having significantly predicted effect on loneliness in the Eysenck personality factors. Predicted effect of mother "stern punishment".
