Abstract

Internet and the increasingly close relationship between human society , driven by a variety of application needs network transmission technology continues to move forward. As a unique multicast network transmission technology, virtual meetings , network-assisted collaborative work, multimedia real-time on-demand, online games , and so has broad application prospects . Multicast multicast applications on the safety performance of proposed new requirements. However, the current lack of security mechanisms multicast protocols , thus limiting the multicast network services in a variety of applications . This paper analyzes and summarizes the multicast key management need to address the major security issues, describes the multicast key management scheme for classification , lists some typical scenarios , and different types of schemes are compared and analyzed. HPNSM is a multi-center based secure multicast framework combines centralized, distributed and hierarchical grouping type , such as several key management scheme , which is suitable for large and dynamic secure multicast communication applications. The program is logically divided into two layers , the top layer of managers , in consultation with DH key generation protocol , to avoid a single point of failure problem ; underlying layer for the user , through a user grouping method , dispersed users centralized join and leave operations. This paper focuses on the architecture HPNSM program , Leader election protocol, key update algorithm and present the main problems . In analyzing HPNSM program , based on an improved key management scheme EHPNSM, design the corresponding dynamic grouping algorithm and batch rekeying algorithm, and the results were analyzed by means of experimental performance of the algorithm . The results show that the selected packet size appropriate conditions, the program management EHPNSM LKH keys and a centralized solution , the average number of encryption is significantly reduced.
