In this paper, high-energy neodymium glass laser (0-25J), the automatic scanning multi-functional combination grating spectrometer and a CCD detector and delay systems and computers spectral acquisition software to constitute laser spectroscopy system, as ablation to the national standard soil samples, study the atmosphere of the laser-induced plasma radiation characteristics. The main contents include the following aspects: 1. Spatial distribution characteristics of high-energy laser-induced soil plasma radiation. The different types of high-pressure atmosphere, the laser-induced plasma radiation intensity, spatial distribution of electron temperature and electron density. It was found that in different ambient gas, the plasma radiation characteristics are significantly different, having a different degree of restriction effect of gas pressure and gas species on the plasma expansion. Laser-induced melting points to enhance the effect of the plasma radiation. Single-pulse laser with high-energy neodymium glass laser output repeated the role in the same position of the surface of the soil samples, the sequence of laser pulses formed under the plasma emission spectroscopy, plasma-like crater morphology acquisition, preliminary inquiry laser-induced melting hole plasma radiation enhanced the internal mechanism. A different atmosphere on the plasma radiation was found, different kinds of environmental gas plasma formed by the sequence of single-pulse laser radiation intensity and spectrum of the letter back than to have a significant impact. 3 sample preparation conditions on laser-induced soil plasma radiation. Experimental study of the target sample of soil under different preparation conditions of the laser-induced plasma radiation. With the improvement of the pressure exerted by the sample preparation, plasma radiation intensity and spectrum of the letter back ratio has improved to varying degrees; enhance even more delicate surface of the sample size, the plasma radiation effect is more obvious. At the same time, the experimental results show that the ambient atmospheric pressure plasma radiation. Laser-induced plasma spectrometry in quantitative analysis. Spectrum quantitative analysis based on the calibration curve method. As the target sample to the national standard soil sample series, drawing the calibration curve, the measurement of the sample elements Mn content. Ar, N2 and CO2 gas three ambient gas, the relative standard deviation (RSD) of five measurements were 9.095%, 6.428% and 11.093%, relative error (RE) elements content was measured at 3.093% -14.021 %, within the range of from 2.784% -19.072%, and 4.124% -17.732%. The results show that there is a good linear relationship between the line intensities and element content.
