Abstract


Along with the fast speed of the world economy integration, quality is more and more important in the integrative market, as one of the main competitive factors. Quality management also developed to total quality management from . traditional quality inspection and quality control. The automotive and parts makers are the earliest corporations who deploy total quality management, and also most management points, especially need resolve quality problems.Quick response (QR) theory illuminates that time and quality are supplement each other, means to ensure quality and shorten time is consistent and not paradoxical. It helps to find out the corporation’s quality problem in regarding with time, without high quality product and process, without high speed to response customer/market requirements. The corporations who could occupy the market quickly are achieved by improve the product quality and process flow.Quick response quality control method is just based on the quick response theory and total quality management theory, combine with the quality management tools like : PDCA and FTA(factor tree analysis) and 5 WHYs, established by quality master from Japan named Kazuo Kawashima San, and deployed in automotive and parts makers.The scientific character of the quick response quality control method embodied in the following 5 sectors:1. It is the perfect combination of quick response and PDCA.Quick response quality control method use (QR) 24 hours, (PD) 5 days, (CA) 10 days to illustrate that it is just the combination of quick response (QR), and PDCA quality method, to achieve response at the very first time to customer, and protect customer with scientific method, avoid lost, analyse and resolve problems, achieved the giving attention to both quality and time.2.Logical thinking is always in the method.Quick response quality control method’s logic embody not only in the PDCA sections, but also inside the FTA and 5 WHYs. Quick response quality control method doesn’t permit having bee in the head, it requires people must use logical thinking way and tools to analyse problem, put forward action plan, checking the validity of the countermeasure step by step, and finally draw the conclusion and share internally.3. Use "San Gen Shui" and "Speak With DATA""San Gen Shui" requires people to use only two tools for observation, judgment, thinking, and decision making: eyes and legs, when they are facing the defects and customer’s complain.4. Lessons Learn Card (LLC) to share the lessons and experience.After the problems are analysed, resolved and successfully verified, quick response quality control method put forward that at the stage A of PDCA we need not only standardize, but also share the countermeasure and successful experience to the likely production line or other plants with group with LLC to avoid reoccurrence of the same problems, at the same time, could also used for reference by the other likely process and product, and also deploy to the new project development phase. 5.Train people, with "San Gen Shui" theory.Quick response quality control method is really a good method for resolved the quality problem, decrease the PPM value, and satisfy customer quality requirements for corporation.
