Abstract


In recent years, with the rapid development of communications technology, from the early GSM、CDMA to the 3G which growing popularity recently and ready for the fourth generation mobile communication technology, every technological leap in mobile phone terminals have coursed tremendous changes. From cell phone to touch-screen, technology development and the number of users and its demands continues to increase, making the mobile phone has evolved into a mobile phone and personal information processing integrated platform. The functions of phones’increasing not only bring entertainment and convenience to people, but also bring a growing number of failures and problems, and the phones’quality is worrying. To improve the quality of mobile phone software, we must pay attention to software testing, because it is important to ensure the quality of mobile phone software. Generally speaking, China’s mobile phone test technology is still in infancy, as the importance of software testing increased by the mobile phone industry in recent years, current levels can basically meet the requirement of the phone testing, but compared with advanced manufactures in developed country, there is still a large gap, either from the implementation technology or process management, or the understanding of the concept. Therefore, software testing in our mobile phone software development industry will face more intense competition and more powerful challenge.China Telecom’s flash ring system and platform project is an application in mobile terminals which based flash. As an enhanced and supplement business to traditional ring tones, it’s a basis for China Telecom to develop a new mobile phone business. The traditional“ring tones”is only music ring tones and can only be achieved on the caller, but the multimedia flash ring system and platform which based on flash technology can be music、video、text and other media way, so as to provide a full range of business experience, and it has a improvement to traditional business. China Telecom Corporation Limited Guangzhou Research Institute has conducted research of mobile flash technology and the development of multimedia flash ring system prototype from 2009. The project has an in-depth study of the technical characteristics of mobile flash, and also has a demonstration of application possibilities and prospects about mobile flash technology on C client, and also developed a prototype multimedia flash ring successfully.This thesis mainly research to do the quality control about the development of flash ring system and platform through functional testing、performance testing and other means of ways in every stages, and analysis the BUG to find the problems of the system. Ensure the system’s continued development and maintainability, and also protect from system research to user delivery.In this paper, we do the following work:1, Ensure the quality of software development through software test; Standardize the participants’understanding about requirements; Control the development process to ensure the progress; Detect and correct the defects of the flash ring system and platform.2, Learning and studying the exist test model to develop and design the software testing tools for the flash ring system and platform; Use self-developed testing tools to guide the development of flash ring system and platform; Assist to develop and maintenance the project.3, Test the flash ring system and platform and analysis the testing results, including functional and performance test.
