Abstract

Carbon nanotubes are one-dimensional quantum materials with special structure (radial dimensions of nanoscale axial dimensions of micrometers, the tube ends basically sealing), with excellent electromagnetic properties, mechanical properties, thermal properties epoxy composite can be prepared by a novel functional material, and can further expand the application of epoxy resin. This paper was prepared by the two different kinds of carbon nanotubes epoxy composite. One is the use of E-44 epoxy matrix using physical dispersion (ultrasonic shear force), the preparation of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) / epoxy composites. And CNTs in epoxy resin dispersion performance studies investigated the electrical properties of the composite materials, mechanical properties, thermal properties. Electrical properties results show that: With the increase of the carbon nanotube content of the resistivity of the composite material is gradually reduced when the CNTs in the matrix content exceeds 1.75%, the volume resistivity of the composite material is decreased to 107Ω? M can achieve anti-static effect. . Use of carbon nanotubes of the average diameter is less than 20nm, and the diluent used in an amount of 5%, its antistatic performance is better. Mechanical Properties: The results show that the tensile strength of the composite material in a content of 1% rise, its tensile strain with CNTs content improved gradually increase. When the carbon nanotube content of 1.5%, the tensile strain than pure epoxy resin increased by nearly three times. Carbon nanotube / epoxy composite thermal performance study shows that: When the carbon nanotube content of less than 3%, no significant effect of the epoxy resin system, when more than 5% of carbon nanotubes easy reunion from composite materials precipitated. Carbon nanotubes promote the curing reaction of epoxy resin composite system, to improve the thermal stability of the composite material. Another composite material using TDI modified carbon nanotubes, using the reaction of part of the isocyanate group in the carbon nanotube surface hydroxyl and TDI, and then with an epoxy resin prepared by reacting. IR, XRD, SEM characterization of the composite, and the study of their electrical properties, thermal properties. Such CNTs / epoxy composite the IR diagram shows: larger isocyanate with the CN asymmetric stretching vibration, 1732 cm-1 ((V-C = O) appears at 2271cm-1 Chu than absorption peak 3299 cm-1 partners amide-NH stretching vibration hydroxyl groups had reacted with TDI, 1538 cm-1 at the peak of-NH deformation vibration better able to explain it. the SEM figure shows that carbon nanotubes in good dispersion of epoxy resin. XRD diagram shows the composite semi-crystalline state, the electrical properties of this composite material results show that: the reaction temperature of 70 ° C, the reaction time was 1h composite volume resistivity of 106Ω? m when the content of carbon nanotubes is greater than 9%, good anti-static properties of the composite material. thermal performance results show that: With the nanotube content increases, the composite material Tp gradually reduced, Tg gradually increases, and described in the composite system adding of the carbon nanotubes can improve the thermal stability of the epoxy resin matrix. thermal conductivity increases continuously with the increase of the carbon nanotube content of this is mainly because of the adding of the carbon nanotube changes the crystal morphology of the epoxy resin was semi-crystalline state, thereby phonon thermal conductivity.
