Abstract


Metal ions Al3+/Zn2+ and ZnO doped into TiO2 sol to prepare the composite TiO2 photocatalytic film were investigated in order to improving the efficiency of the TiO2 photocatalytic thin film. Using the simple sol-gel methods, one way is that using Al3+/Zn2+/ZnO doped into TiO2 sol, to prepare the metal oxide semiconductor doping hybrid sol. By dipping and coating method, the thin film on glass as the carrier was formed; the other way is to use SiO2 surface treatment modification for two kinds of doped TiO2, after heating treatment, the products were obtained. The final products were tested by the contact angle, UV-Vis, IR and AFM to characterize its performances. Based on the compound film’s superhydrophilic character, the experiment explored the film’s hydrophobic modification, using TiO2 and oxide SiO2 doped method, different particle sizes of coating material were prepared to control the composite film surface roughness. Fluorine silane was used in preparation for matrix composite TiO2 photocatalysis films. The results showed that:1) When the doping content of Al3+ was 0.3g,Al3+:TBOT:H2O:C2H5OH=3:16: 20:286(the proportion of quality), the effect of TiO2 composite photo-catalyst film was the best; the surface of Al3+/TiO2 composite photo-catalyst film treated by SiO2 was best in superhydrophilicity; the part of Al3+ doped TiO2 improved the performance of its absorption; Transmittance of composite photo-catalytic film is up to 80%-90%, the transparency is also in a higher degree.2) Zn2+ doping amount of 0.1g was the ideal experimental condition; the effect of through the SiO2 surface treating Zn2+/TiO2 composite photo-catalytic film was best in superhydrophilicity, the static contact angle was almost 0°when the water droplet was contacted; The absorption performance of ZnO/TiO2 composite photocatalytic film was higher, but transparency is poorer.3) Fluorine and silicone surface modification SiO2/TiO2 photocatalysis TiO2 membrane surface combining the surface density and the micro/nano structure of both resulted in the film surface’s appropriate roughness, improving the composite film surface of hydrophobic performance. Through phase separation, acid-base mixed sol provides double roughness; with high temperature treatment approaches the high mechanical strength of super-hydrophobic films were observed.
