Abstract


Wood processing industry is relying on forest resources for wood utilization industry, is a continuation of forest resources for training industry, but also a wide coverage, chain length, variety of composite products industry group has been included as a key development of Putian City industrial property, It is the key of promoting the province 26 industrial clusters.This paper describes the development of wood processing industry’s status and problems in Putian City; using SWOT analysis of the wood processing industry’s strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges for a comprehensive and systematic and objective analysis; proposing building Putian City, the development of wood processing industry marketing, technology, brand, quality standards and five support system software and hardware environment;describing the development planning models and strategies of the wood processing industry in Putian City, discussing the development of circular economy industrial chains and docking with the economic zone surrounding the strategic choice and positioning; making both theoretical and practical wood processing industry development measures and recommendations for the wood processing industry in Putian City, for the wood processing industry to provide basis for decision making. Putian city in accelerating the transformation of economic development mode, the full implementation of the "ports prosper city, industries strong city’development strategy background, Putian City, the development of wood processing industry have a good prospect. Wood processing industry is conducive to full import and export of timber resources in Putian City, useing the comparative advantages of Meizhou Bay port conditions, to set up the southeast coast of China largest distribution center for the timber trade ,and construct the high-quality platform of the‘Chinese imported wood quarantine pest elimination zones’it has a good advantage to extent the wood processing industry chain, to resolve issues that timber supply and demand, and improve the comprehensive utilization of resources and value-added products; to help improve the competitiveness of timber enterprises in Putian, to build wood processing industry cluster for Putian City.Wood processing industry cluster as a one of the top ten cluster of Putian City, we must adapt to market demand, speed up the industrialization process; at the end of the 12th new-five year plan, making efforts to achieve the wood processing industry output value of over 30 billion RMB, when in the end of the 12thFYPs”, Putian will become largest timber import and wood products export base, forming the largest of Chinese‘s modern timber processing, trade and distribution center. Putian City, the forest resources are limited, the actual needs of the development of recycling wood processing industry, the establishment of forest products processing industry as the leading industry ecosystem, within the whole system to get the best allocation of resources, effective use of waste, environmental pollution reduces to a minimum level; in the wood processing industry chain of circular economy development plan should also actively promote the construction of industrial raw material forest.
