Abstract


Now, with the rapid development of society, the garden industry has also been excellently developed, landscape materials as basic elements of garden construction, it played a significant role in the garden construction rapid growth and healthy development. Thus, in seeking the relationship between material and forms, material selection and application in a reasonable way ,fully utilize and explore a wealth of unique material properties, etc. has a very important practical significance in practice.The paper through researches of systematic on the application materials and application of current development in traditional Chinese gardens and modern garden ,searches ways to the correct selection and use of materials, and more accurately and more efficiently performance landscape through the application of these materials, then better expresses the designer’s design concept and intent of the landscape,the research of this papers mainly in the following aspects:(1) Analysis to the landscape materials use and explain a variety of techniques of the material selection and application in the traditional and the modern garden ,from the perspective of the specific application on materials to more in-depth.(2)Through conduct a comprehensive comparison and analysis to the apply of landscape materials on plants, paving, water features, rocks, sculptures and structures and other aspects of landscape construction in the traditional and modern Landscape, discussed and thought the Possibility of the learning and converging from each other on the application of traditional and modern Landscape materials.(3) based on the current development status of China’s landscape materials,and the current of the main problems in material application process, and on how to better to inheritance the application of our approach and design of the essence in our traditional garden to Put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
