Abstract


Marxist theory of religion is a rich and complete theoretical system, which covers the religion, the basic concept on religious issues and the principles of religious issues, programs, policies, and so on. It has important theoretical status. in the historical materialism of Marxism as well as different periods of the enrichment and development of the historical process. It was founded in Marx and Engel’s scientific world outlook and proletarian leadership in socialist revolution in the process of dialectical materialism and historical materialism of religion to conduct scientific research, and the inheritance and development of human history of atheism and religious theory system after the establishment of the outstanding achievements. Lenin leaded the working class in the establishment of Soviet power and the socialist construction of the preliminary practice, making new contributions to their own religious theory of Marxism to form a complete system. The Chinese communists represented by Mao Zedong continue to enrich and develop Marxism and religion in the Chinese revolution and construction.Both in understanding the nature of religion and religious characteristics of the times, many important ideas are put forward. In particular, under the banner of the great theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in new era, to analysis and study the religious theory of Marxism will be of great theoretical and practical significance.
