Abstract


Purpose (1) to investigate the diagnostic value of serum glucose - 6 - phosphate isomerase (glucose-6-phosphate isomerase, G6PI) antigens on rheumatoid arthritis (Rheumatoid Arthritis, RA); (2) to explore the joint fluid in G6PI antigen relationship with RA; (3) explore the G6PI antigen and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) antibodies, rheumatoid factor (IgM-RF) of the IgM type class in the relationship. (4) explore G6PI antigen with RA disease activity index (ARAI); (5) to explore the relationship G6PI antigen with RA bone erosion. Materials and Methods 107 patients with RA were detected by double antibody sandwich assay (ELISA), and 52 cases of other connective tissue disease and 32 patients with normal serum G6PI antigen concentration; examined 30 patients with RA, 22 patients with other connective tissue diseases antigen concentration in the synovial fluid G6PI. Simultaneous detection of anti-cyclic citrullinated (CCP) antibodies in the serum of patients with RA, anti-keratin antibodies (AKA), the IgM type class rheumatoid factor (IgM-RF), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). X-ray of the hands of RA patients with the modified sharp score, divided into bone erosion group and no bone erosion group. Results (1) The average concentration of 107 cases of patients with RA group the serum G6PI antigen: 0.804 ± 0.416mg / L; 52 patients with other connective tissue disease group: 0.353 ± 0.132mg / L; 32 cases of normal control group: 0.061 ± 0.025mg / L . Among the three groups RA group compared with normal group p = 0.000 difference was statistically significant, the RA group and the non-RA group p = 0.001 difference was statistically significant, the non-RA group compared with normal group p = 0.90 by one-way ANOVA difference No statistically significant; (2) 30 cases of synovial fluid of RA patients G6PI antigen average concentration: 1.452 ± 0.824mg / L; G6PI antigen average concentration in the synovial fluid of 22 patients with other connective tissue disease group: 0.271 ± 0.154mg / L. Between the two groups p = 0.001, statistically significant differences between the two groups. (3) G6PI antigen in the group of patients with RA, the positive rate was 78.6% in the group of other connective tissue disease positive rate was 19.2% in the control group did not detection G6PI antigen. G6PI antigen species positive rate in RA patients was significantly higher than other connective tissue disease group and normal control group; positive anti-CCP antibodies in RA group was 43.1%, the positive rate of 3.2% in other connective tissue disease group, normal control group were not detected in anti-CCP antibodies; IgM-RF-positive rate was 66.4% in the group of patients with RA and other connective tissue disease, the positive rate was 30.8%, the positive rate was 6.3% in the normal control group; P = 0.49, (4) rheumatoid arthritis patients the serum G6PI concentration and disease activity index (ARAI) by linear regression analysis, the regression equation is not significant, indicating that patients with rheumatoid arthritis the serum G6PI concentration with disease activity index (ARAI ) linear regression relationship; (5) serum G6PI antigen positive RA patients with serum G6PI antigen-negative RA patients were compared with both hands X-ray follow-up after one year there is a significant difference between, G6PI positive group of patients with bone destruction occurs more than G6PI negative group. Conclusion (1) G6PI antigen in the serum of patients with RA concentration, contribute to the diagnosis of RA the serum G6PI antigen; (2) G6PI antigen concentration in the synovial fluid of RA patients, to further illustrate G6PI antigen in the pathogenesis of RA plays an important role; (3) the RA serum G6PI concentration and anti-CCP antibodies, RF correlation; (4) the RA serum G6PI concentration with disease activity index (ARAI) linear regression relationship; (5) serum the antigen-positive RA patients G6PI bone destruction of more than G6PI antigen-negative patients with RA.
