Abstract


Amy Tan (Amy Tan) is a famous contemporary Chinese-American women writers. \This work describes the conflicts of life, caused many readers resonate true feelings. Many commentators have from a cultural perspective on the novel interpretation, from the ethical point of view the study of works is still relatively rare. Ethical Literary Criticism by Professor Nie Zhenzhao, made in 2004, attracted the attention of many experts and scholars. This critical methods focus on close reading of the text of ethical orientation nuances stressed from work to discover, provide inspiration for people's real behavior. Amy Tan is a second-generation Chinese-American, she not only by the impact of American individualism and pragmatism, accepted the influence of the Chinese family Confucianism. Is sandwiched between the family and society, the mother and white American, she was caught in the tangle of of intergenerational conflict heterogeneous ethical conflicts, this anxiety with the embarrassing situation made her a strong sense of anticipation to the harmony. Tan's harmonious ethics is mainly reflected in two aspects: First, four pairs of mother and daughter in the novel by the conflict to the trend of integration reflects her desire to communicate intergenerational communication and heterogeneity ethics; same time, four daughters out of marriage and family crisis and eventual integration into American society, reflecting her communication and racial integration of heterogeneous ethical expectations. In the context of today's era of globalization, peace and development has become the common voice of the people of the world, Amy Tan harmonious ethics is undoubtedly looking forward to strong evidence of world peace. Following the introductory part of the value of its theoretical background and subject, in the first chapter statements novel interpersonal conflict: mother-daughter conflict between the Chinese-American and white American ethnic conflict. The second analysis of the causes of the conflict. First analysis of both China and the United States ethical system differences and conflicts, and analysis of modern society, intergenerational conflict worsened, combined with text specific ethical analysis of interpersonal conflict in the novel. Concluded that Amy Tan is a delicate feelings of women writers, beyond, the portrayal of the mother-daughter relationship in the West between the two cultures, she showed independent, unique ethics and as a metaphor for a more profound the relationship between national culture, and how we should deal with how to handle this.
