Abstract


Citizen participation is the yardstick to measure the degree of democratization of political democracy. The so-called citizen participation, ordinary citizens and their organizations in order to safeguard the interests and rights of all the activities that attempt to influence the decision of the country's political and social public affairs. A political community, if not the political participation of citizens, it can not be called democracy. China as the world's largest socialist country, democratic politics is an essential requirement of socialism, and the citizens' political participation is an unavoidable topic. With the deepening of reform and opening up and development, China's international and domestic environment has undergone tremendous change, citizen participation has become a compelling social and political phenomenon, which is not only the requirements of the development of socialist democratic politics, but also the consciousness of the civil rights results. Citizen participation is an important part of the construction of China's socialist democratic politics, China has also strongly advocated to expand citizens' orderly participation in order to promote the development of democratic politics. This paper analyzes the relationship between citizen participation and democracy and the importance of citizen participation in the development of socialist democratic politics, follow the basic theory describes the discovery and analysis of the problem, the proposed solution ideas on how to expand citizens' orderly participation to advance the construction of socialist democratic politics. The full text of three parts. The first part is the analysis of citizen participation in the elaboration of the basic theoretical knowledge and citizen participation in democracy. Citizens to participate in a very close relationship with democracy, on the one hand, citizens participate in the realization of democracy political democracy first and important feature, and promote the further development of democratic political; the other hand, democracy provide an institutional guarantee for the citizen participation and political environment, providing the direction of the development of citizen participation. The second part is the introduction of the formation and content of socialist democratic politics and civic participation in the analysis of the importance of the development of socialist democratic politics. Significance of citizen participation in the socialist democratic politics is reflected in two aspects, one is the citizen participation to provide legitimacy foundation for the socialist democratic politics, civic participation to promote the democratization of decision-making, scientific. The third part on the basis of our citizens to participate in the status quo, expand citizens' orderly participation in four ways: civic education, institution building, government reform and civil society building.
