Abstract

The Taiwan since ancient times, is the part of the sacred territory of China to complete the great cause of the reunification of the motherland is the sacred duty of the entire Chinese people, including Taiwan compatriots. However, due to historical and practical reasons, Taiwan still has not returned to the embrace of the mainland. The Taiwan issue is China's internal affair, but it is always the interference of external forces. U.S. globalized national interests determine U.S. policy toward China and Taiwan policy must be as the fundamental starting point. This article attempts to comb the historical trajectory of the Taiwan policy of the Bush Administration, to explore its Taiwan policy the transmutation and historical regularity, which sum up a little reference for me to deal with Sino-US relations and the Taiwan issue and enlightening.
