Abstract


Eco - critical theory , Western Marxist critical theory of a new direction . Marcuse is as one of the outstanding representatives of the Frankfurt School , its eco - critical theory in the capitalist pursuit of profit there is a serious over-exploitation of the natural destruction of the natural exploitation of natural and devastating era abuse of natural background , the distinctive features of the theory . At present, China is in a critical period of rapid economic development , ecological problems increasingly conflict , and to achieve sound and rapid economic development , and avoid taking the Western developed countries the old ecological crisis , we should re-examine the relationship between man and nature , and to reflect on our the existing natural view , looking up from the theoretical level solve outlet . Marcuse ecological critique of capitalism theory is proposed for the capitalist countries , to some extent, also has some limitations, but many of them valuable, quite enlightening , worthwhile for us to seriously study and explore . This paper is the use of a literature method , analysis and synthesis of inductive and deductive methods , start with the theory trying to explore Marcuse ecological critique papers to form the basis of the background and theoretical basis for the two aspects , in order to pave the way below . Next, according to the language of logic clues Marcuse writings , the main content of their ideological detailed combing and depth , detailed study : Marcuse from militarization natural , commercialization aspects of nature, human and natural relations critique of contemporary capitalist line , leading to the conclusion that only the importance of the ecological development , attention to improving the relationship between man and nature and to eliminate alienation can really solve the ecological crisis of capitalism . Finally, the author points out the theoretical and practical significance behind in its thinking . In theory , Marcuse expand the content and perspectives of Marx, the Frankfurt School critical theory of capitalism , to lay a solid foundation for the development of Western Marxism , the direction for the study of the ecology Marxism ; From a practical point of view Marcuse advocated respect for the natural environment , to rebuild the relationship between man and nature , calls for ecological civilization , have some role in guiding the development of society .
