Abstract


Information society , the rapid development of network technology popularization and popularity of WebGIS provide a broad space for development. Traditional Web language HTML is a hypertext markup language , with the type of information on the Web increasing , it is not conducive to the performance of geospatial data . WebGIS applications and many are dependent on the specific GIS software , GIS software and data formats diverse and difficult to interoperability , the lack of flexibility. This paper analyzed the current research status of WebGIS , WebGIS implementation method , commonly used structural model , summarized the WebGIS trends. Through the SVG technology research, strengthen SVG applied WebGIS advantage. In order to achieve GIS widespread on the Internet , to solve the multi -source spatial data integration and interoperability , the use of international standards GML. Compatibility, dynamic, interactive, scalable , platform-independent features such as SVG to meet the growing demand. In order to solve the vector in WebGIS transmission and spatial data display problems , to combine the two , consider using GML in WebGIS server multiple data sources as data exchange format , to achieve geographic information exchange , sharing to SVG vector map publishing format as visualization of spatial information established model of WebGIS based on SVG . Focuses on spatial data visualization client study into WebGIS platform used to build some of the key technologies. Research in GML spatial data stored in the document is converted to SVG via XSLT documents, maps loaded after a successful conversion , compression and transmission , data visualization . Finally, based on SVG technology, the experimental verification of the proposed model , spatial data visualization , and how to implement SVG-based WebGIS performance optimization are studied.
