Abstract


With the continuous development of urban construction , with traditional manual collection, analysis, updates, and query information -based planning and management approach has become increasingly unsuited to modern requirements, planning and management modernization increasingly important. Geographic information system with its powerful data visualization, spatial database management, and spatial analysis capabilities for urban planning information management provides a powerful tool for urban planning and management information system (Urban Planning Management Information System) is a modern city planning and management techniques, can improve urban planning and management level of automation and standardization , improve management efficiency, build urban planning and management information system is an inevitable trend . In this paper, urban planning management information system, the basic solutions to the Southern District WIZ urban planning and construction management information system, for example , in the work of urban planning and management of a detailed business analysis , based on the description from the system design to the specific functions of the entire process. System component library for the use of ArcGIS Engine Developer Kit , through ArcSDE spatial data engine storage planning GIS data in Oracle, and VB.net as the integrated development environment to achieve a standalone application . Studies have shown that the system can achieve the integration of graphics and attribute management planning and construction business management, graphics and attribute information to maintain and update , improve resource utilization digitized graphics and information integration ; planning management information to achieve the dynamic management , able to planning and construction of corporate planning, municipal planning , project management , contract management , bidding for effective management , scientific management, and coordination office within the department as well as business filing and approval of the project information sharing ; system successfully tested in WIZ South District planning and Construction Bureau , to meet the current needs of users , and has a certain degree of flexibility , build on the planning and management of its work is very essential .
