Abstract


As data grows geometrically information resources , storage technology is facing serious challenges. Various mass information storage systems have emerged , including object-based storage system is a kind of cross-platform data sharing, performance , security, and scalability features such as storage systems. This storage system is based on three framework , the \OSD device in addition to storing variable length object file also stores a large number of object attributes. How to effectively organize and manage object properties , for the improvement of performance of the system has great significance . Files using the traditional file system management approach to managing distributed object attributes , the operation requests scale up to a certain extent , the system performance decreases rapidly . The study found that using a database indexing technology management object attributes can make the system performance remains stable. KD tree (K-Dimensions Tree) is an excellent database indexing technology , which provides multi-dimensional lookup function with the object attribute uniquely identifies the partition number , user number , attributes and attribute index page number can be combined to provide fast and efficient attribute manipulation . KD tree algorithm based on the characteristics of the achievements in several different modes. Different modes of operation performance and the node tree design is also somewhat different . For the characteristics of object properties , select the appropriate mode to create KD tree managed object attribute model , the model object attribute inode taken a dimension that contains nodes and node data design. In order to improve the performance of KD tree delete operations , for which the two models are designed delete operation optimization. Finally, the KD tree synthesis Trace managed object attribute model for simulation test, the test results show that the use of the model object property management than the object file system management performance and stability, will not increase with time and the load increases aging.
