Abstract


As an important social and cultural information department, the library provides classified management, circulation, retrieval and other functions for various types of resources. With the continuous development of information technology and the work’s complexity and integration, an effective library management information system is needed to improve management efficiency in order to achieve standardized resource management, lower management costs and speed up the flow of resources.Firstly, the feasibility study is required in the library management ,and then determine the final larget system development, system architecture formulation of an overall design.The system use the selected development tools, development platforms(Based on.NET technology, using SQL Server database). In accordance with the design of the detailed design of each module, comprehensive analysis of the data object and its access to the program requirements and structure, complete background database design, in the specific development process continually changes, perfect, tested the system running stable.But the system still has many not satisfied places. For example the design of the user interface was not beautiful enough and the function of the system presenting did not plan reasonable enough. These places depend on us to improve. For the system maintenance and motion, the system can’t step up itself on line. It only can use in the single computer. The exploitation of the book information management system is a refined and complicated work. It require the deviser has the ability of general plan and has hundred fold patient to do this and can’t have a little careless in design. The development trend of the book information management system is from single computer to network, to digitization management.
