Abstract

Objective: to go through the interproximal tooth enamel after in vitro experiments in vitro cariogenic observed adjacent to the enamel surface to the enamel and after treatment on enamel caries risks, is adjacent to the enamel surface to provide experimental basis for clinical application . Methods: The clinical need for orthodontic removal of premolars 28, each tooth into mesial and distal surfaces of two adjacent samples. All specimens were randomly divided into A, B, C, D four groups of 14 specimens in accordance with the following requirements of each group prepared specimens. Group A: control group was not doing anything to deal with the glaze. Group B: the removable enamel, enamel adjacent surface of the removal is not processed by polishing and re-mineralization. Group C: remove enamel polishing group, removal of adjacent surface of enamel, and on the polished to be glazed. Group D: Removal polished enamel remineralization group adjacent surface of enamel removal, glazed on to be polished while using remineralization agents (fluoride foam). After completion of sample preparation, in vitro cariogenic experiment, four groups of specimens were both 37 ℃ constant temperature water bath for 30 PH circulation outside bodies. PH cycle through scanning electron microscopy before and after the enamel surface morphology changes. Application microhardness was measured before and after each sample PH cycle microhardness values ??and apply SPSS13.0 statistical analysis software for data analysis of variance, groups were compared using multiple SNK-q method for statistical analysis. Results: ① PH cycles, B and C groups microhardness values ??are larger than the decline in group A, and the difference was highly statistically significant (P lt; 0.01), the B and C groups enamel demineralization risk was significantly greater than in group A; D group microhardness value is greater than the decline in group A, the change in the difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05), group D specimens showed demineralization with group A considerable risk. Group B and C reduce the amount of surface microhardness was no significant difference (P gt; 0.05), the B and C groups demineralization of tooth specimens considerable degree. Group D surface hardness values ??decreased significantly less than B group, C group (P lt; 0.01), shows that, after remineralization treatment, go glazed demineralization significantly less than the risk of re-mineralization process did not go glazed. ② PH cycle before the scanning electron microscope to find interproximal enamel left after a relatively rough surface, polished surface becomes relatively smooth, but not completely eliminate scratches. PH cycle, A group of the visible part of the specimen surface demineralization, B and C groups on the surface demineralization is severe, the whole to have taken place glazed demineralization, was obviously \D group to glaze covering uniform sediment, to significantly reduce the roughness of the glaze. Conclusion: ① to the adjacent tooth enamel surface after the treatment is not performed in the case of remineralization, dental caries risk than before the increase is not to the glaze. ② performed proximal to the glaze, after polishing and fluoride foam remineralization of the teeth to deal with glazed enamel caries risk and go in front of the teeth fairly. ③ While polishing acid did not increase to glaze, but to polished glazed greatly reduces the roughness, is conducive to clinical caries prevention.
