The Clinic Value of Prenatal Ultrasonography in the Diagnosis of Fetal Urinary System Anomalies

Abstract


Objective: To investigate the different types of fetal urinary tract dysplasia sonographic features and diagnostic value . Materials and methods : March 2004 to February 2010 in our hospital system in 8468 cases of pregnant women prenatal ultrasound checks were stunted fetal urinary system 385 cases ( 108 cases of urinary tract malformations ) , basic to the fetus summary data and final results , retrospective analysis of 385 cases of fetal urinary tract dysplasia sonographic features . All urinary system malformations were confirmed by autopsy or follow-up . Results: The incidence of dysplasia of the urinary system , 4.55% ( 385 / 8468 ) . Fetal malformation of the urinary system accounted for 28.05% ( 108 / 385 ) of the total number of stunted fetal urinary system , which no amniotic fluid or amniotic fluid volume is too small 31 cases , accounting for 28.7% ( 31 / 108 ) for lethal malformations . Urinary system other system abnormalities associated with 74 cases of dysplasia cases , accounting for 19.22% ( 74 / 385 ) . Bad cases of this group of 385 patients with urinary system development , hydronephrosis alone , 252 cases ( 65.45% ) ; hydronephrosis with ureteral dilatation in 30 cases (7.80 %) ; renal hypoplasia in 26 cases (6.76 %) ; 21 cases of renal agenesis ( 5.46% ) ; kidney polycystic disease in 32 patients ( 8.31% ) ; kidney single ectopic kidney cysts in 8 cases (2.08 %) ; 7 cases ( 1.82% ) ; kidney five cases (1.30 %) ; hydronephrosis and ureteral dilatation and a huge bladder 4 cases (1.04 %) ; horseshoe kidney ( 0.26% ) . Conclusion : Prenatal ultrasound fetal urinary tract dysplasia diagnosis has important clinical value . Prenatal ultrasound examination revealed no amniotic fluid or too little amniotic fluid volume is the diagnosis of serious urinary tract malformations initial and most important clues . Kidney moderate hydrocephalus and ureteral dilatation cases , the possibility of organic disease should be suspected .
