Abstract


The publishing industry has boomed thanks to people relentless pursuit of knowledge and culture , thanks to the development of society as a whole . The second half of the 18th century , the outbreak of the Industrial Revolution in England , brought a series of major changes to society , but also provides an opportunity for the publishing industry is booming . Britain has all the major powers of the world -renowned media of the 18th century, the British publishing industry research , contribute to a more comprehensive and detailed understanding of the social outlook of the British , but also contribute to a deeper understanding of British culture .
