Abstract


With the spreading development of the Internet, more and more people find and download resource that they love. The content transmitted on Internet has changed from text to multimedia data, these files always very huge, in the current network environment users’ download speed very solw. How to develop download speed becomes the focus. Because of the high effiective and sufficient resources on the P2P network, P2P download software almost replaces the server/client network. But there are still many server/client networks. If we can use both of the technology for downloading, we can improve our download speed and on the other hand wen can improve the usage of the resources on Internet.This paper proposes a new mind of high download speed for the lack of the P2P download mode. Integrate C/S mode with P2P mode to implement a protocol fusion download software.The paper begins with the struct of the P2P network and client/server nerwork, first introduce P2P technology and client/server network. Second introduce the widely used BT protocol and HTTP protocol. After understanding these basic concepts, we selected BT protocol download software rtorrent and its supporting library libtorrent as a basis for improvements int the libtorrent library to add common interface of protocol integration class, and use the libcurl library to achieve the HTTP download process. Modify the main proguan and text interface for rtorrent, and ultimatelu the BT protocol and HTTP protocol download software has been implemented. After testing, this P2P protocol fusion download software’download speed is higher than P2P download software’s in any network environment.The next few years, a variety of network resources will become more abundant, and people use the Internaet to download the necessary resource will be increasingly important. Protocol fusion download software will better satisfy the demand of users’requirement. Protocol fusion mind is bound to be widely used.
