Abstract


With the network technology , video and audio compression technology and computer storage technology development , as well as the increasing demand for services in convection in a variety of network media streaming technology has also been a rapid development in video-on-demand , streaming news release, online advertising broadcast , video conferencing, distance education, online streaming media information services field has demonstrated broad application prospects . Transmission of multimedia content takes up most of the traffic on the Internet , leading to tension in the backbone bandwidth , increased user access delay and confusion in the user management . Too large to ease network pressure and meet user demand , many new technologies have been proposed and applied , including the proxy cache and P2P network model architecture . This article studies the streaming system architecture and proxy caching technology , research and design a data distribution strategy suitable for homogeneous and heterogeneous networks , simulation experiments to verify the reasonableness and validity of the data distribution strategy design , final combination of data distribution strategy with proxy caching server for streaming media system . The strategy includes the system topology architecture , cache mode, caching algorithms , data distribution , planning and data replacement algorithm . System topology architecture uses a hierarchical topology architecture , divided into a proxy layer and user layer system user layer design phase according to the of isomorphic networks and heterogeneous networks heterosexual ; caching algorithms based long segmented cache way , combined with media popularity, user characteristics and network bandwidth for design; data replacement algorithm is based LFU, integrated planning of data distribution design .
