Abstract


With the deepening of our open policy and the sustainable development of our economy, the living standards of our citizens have been improved a lot, and our living pattern has undergone profound changes. The emancipation of women’s mind, the increase of their income and social status, and the pressure they have received in their daily life have made women relaxing themselves and know the world by traveling instead of staying at home. The popularity of women tourists is on the increasing tendency, which is far beyond the men. In many places, women have out numbered men.The paper gives an actual research into Qingdao on the basis of a detailed study of the concerned subjects from the angles of touristic study, economy, sociology, traveler’s behavior study and leisure sociology by means of questionnaire and talks to get the first hand materials characteristic of Qingdao women’s leisure traveling. Then after the combination of the quantitative and qualitative analysis of statistical analysis, the common features and the disparity because of ages, education backgrounds, vocations, and incomes will be observed. Its common features is mainly shown in the following ways: its destination is mainly about coastal leisure and subject activity ; they like shopping and movie entertainment, and usually go traveling with their friends and relatives and share the traveling information with them. All the features also differ for the disparity of ages, education backgrounds, vocations, and incomes. Finally some advices are offered on the basis of these features.Generally speaking, the women’s immense market still remains to be discovered and used. The analysis of the features and the degrees of satisfaction is helpful to understand their needs and behavior characters, and means a lot to the cultivation and exploration of the market, and consequently leads to its transformation and improvement of its related products and traveling economy.
