An Exploratory Study of Opportunity Recognition in College-student Entrepreneurial Prosperity: An Expertise Developmental Perspective

In this study, based on the expertise of perspective, the use of comparative research, mining college students, potential causes of the entrepreneurial novice, entrepreneurship expert identifying entrepreneurial opportunities. The three major issues need to be addressed in this study: (1) Students start the tendency of the opportunity to identify the target characteristics, its entrepreneurial experts, venture novice what are the differences? Opportunity to identify the cognitive processes ② college students entrepreneurial tendencies, its entrepreneurial experts , novice, what are the differences? ③ entrepreneurial opportunities to identify the role in the mechanism of influencing factors is what? With the above problems, this paper want to cognitive characteristics of entrepreneurial students for research purposes, around the opportunity to identify the impact of factors to entrepreneurial experts, entrepreneurship novice, to carry out a series of studies. Study 1, 20 entrepreneurship expert, novice and college students structured interviews, qualitative analysis first, the method of group decision-making, the quantification of data, and then use factor analysis and analysis of variance of each factor and group differences. The results showed that: ① entrepreneurial motivation. The entrepreneurial experts entrepreneurial motivation tend to available resources, and the entrepreneurial novice personal pressure are more likely to want to start students prefer the ability to exercise. ② entrepreneurial opportunities for target identification characteristics. The experts tend consulting and profit novice identification of opportunities prefer unique and personal tendencies, college students rather ambiguous identification of targets of opportunity, there is no unified understanding. (3) identification of entrepreneurial opportunities cognitive processes. The initial launch, the the experts thought process parallel novice and college students sequence. Study 2, combined with interviews and previous theoretical through exploratory factor analysis of 208 questionnaires, two questionnaires identifying characteristics of entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial opportunities. Further multiple regression analysis of the mechanism of recognition of entrepreneurial opportunities. The results showed that: ① entrepreneurial intention four-factor first-order model, achievement motivation, risk-taking, independence, self-efficacy, empathy entrepreneurial opportunity identification questionnaire five factors of a first-order model, including the unique nature of the information consulting, profit, personal tendencies, the potential market. ② gradually forced multiple regression analysis of demographic variables and three impact variables (entrepreneurial intention, entrepreneurial alertness to existing knowledge) identification of entrepreneurial opportunities and found entrepreneurial alertness is always recognition of entrepreneurial opportunities significantly affected. Studies 1 and 2 are closely related, and the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and to provide a basis for further understanding of the nature of entrepreneurs identify entrepreneurial opportunities and, at the same time, for the upcoming college students towards the path of entrepreneurship and encourage college students entrepreneurial organizations to provide guidance direction.
