Abstract


Urban parks are one of the main components of an urban land and are main places for urban residents’ recreation activity, which do have the functions of entertainment, economic and social culture. The recreational functions of urban parks typically receive increasing concern as citizens’ living standards in crease. Urban parks’ distribution which study on the space distribution and configuration situation of urban parks is a important index to evaluate the level of urban parks’ construction and management, which also being a important aspect to evaluate urban greening level and economic quality.The research has consulted lots of reference, and has made a systemic organization and summary. Residents are concerned about not only the quantity and quality of urban parks provided by the government, but also whether they can reach and enjoy urban parks conveniently. Research also selected accessibility and serving efficiency as breakthrough point, and made a further carding and analysis on the calculation method. Take Harbin as an example, combined with data from department of urban planning and statistics, the author made a lot of scene investigation and survey and have made qualitative analysis on Harbin’s green space system and present distribution situation of urban parks.In order to show the distribution situation of Harbin’s urban parks more accurately and to promote the distribution of Harbin’s urban parks more rationalization and fairly, to connected the urban parks’distribution with register more closely, the research based on previous theory study and on-site survey use GIS analysis platform studied the accessibility and serving efficiency of Harbin’s urban parks, and have did a quantitative evaluation on the service situation of Harbin’s urban parks.The result showed that:Study area’s urban parks are inadequate in quantity and distributed uneven spatially. It is severely imbalance between supply and demand for the urban parks of the research region. There are 450.13hm2 urban parks and 1.54hm2 per capital on the research region. The area of urban parks is only 2% of the research region.According to accessibility analysis, under the service radius of 500m and 1000m, there are only 13.67% and 28.99% of the research region can get to the urban parks, it shows that it is inadequate of Harbin’s urban park and the spatial distribution of the urban parks is uneven. According to serving efficiency analysis, under the service radius of 500m and 1000m, there are only 23.8%and 51.89% of the citizens are served by the urban parks. It shows that the equity of urban parks’service should be improved.The study proved that the evaluation of urban parks’ distribution based on the aspects of accessibility and serving efficiency is more scientific and reasonable. The research has acquired comprehensive information about the current status of accessibility and service efficiency. We studied the accessibility and service efficiency of urban parks in Harbin and have given related adjustment suggestion and development proposal, and hopes it will provide reference of future urban planning and development.
