Abstract

With the continuous progress of Electronic Science and Technology and the rapidly growing popularity of electronic products , the status and role of power electronics technology in the national economy has become increasingly prominent . General electronic equipment can not be used directly to AC ( mains ) , mains through the AC / DC conversion to a stable DC voltage can be used after . Which monolithic AC / DC switching power supply chip because its output voltage accuracy , low cost , high efficiency , reliability , as well as the advantages of small size , stable AC voltage is converted to DC voltage is widely used . The task of this project is to design a low-power monolithic integrated off-line AC / DC converter switching power supply . The main features of the chip is a monolithic integrated control circuit and power MOS dynamic self-powered functionality without adding auxiliary coil , internal soft-start circuitry prevents current surge when turned on , the frequency jitter function to reduce EMI interference , light load automatically switch to jump cycle work and no audio noise , overvoltage protection , overcurrent protection , overload protection , and thermal shutdown protection function . This thesis describes the basic working principle of the switching power supply as well as the design of the application program and the chip internal structure , and then details the the chip internal circuit design and simulation , including benchmarks , voltage regulator , soft start oscillator frequency jitter , feedback control circuit and over-temperature protection , Finally, after the simulation results of the chip layout of the overall circuit .
