Abstract


This paper mainly analyzes the orgin and present situation of Chinese traditional and Western wedding dress, studies the factors of influencing their development, focuses upon an analysis of the causes of the East-meets-West phenomenon of Chinese wedding dress, finds the contradiction that traditional and modern dress culture have mixed together and collided and tables a proposal for solving the problem. Through this study, the theoretical method of reform and innovation of Chinese traditional wedding dress is found.
