Abstract


With the rapid development of the Internet and communication technologies , high-quality real - time video transmission technology more and more attention to the country to promote the \However, video delivery solutions are to the terminal computing capacity and network bandwidth constraints are not able to implement this program . ITU organization has developed a series of video coding standard is used in the limited network bandwidth for multimedia communication , video transmission . , H.264 video compression coding is widely considered the most influential industry standards , H.264 standard video quality , compression ratio , recover lost packet than previous video compression standards , but also increases the the complexity of the algorithm . Pure software the H.264 codec is often limited by the speed of the processor is unable to meet the requirements of video resolution , this problem is particularly prominent in the embedded field . More popular transmission scheme is based on the H.264 hardware codec and software together to complete the acquisition, encoding and transmission of the video . By using the embedded H.264 hardware codec to achieve real-time video transmission scheme . System developed multimedia hardware codec S3C6410 processor - based embedded development platform , using the embedded Linux operating system and RTP / RTCP Real-time Transport Protocol , designed and implemented based on the H.264 hardware codec Ethernet video transmission scheme. The programs mainly includes a video capture module , the video encoder module , the video transmission module , the video receiving module . Through the test of the experimental environment , the video transmission scheme can effectively achieve the real - time video network transmission , image quality , delay to meet the application requirements .
