With the widening income gap of urban residents and housing markets , and in recent years, housing prices continued to rise and housing supply structural defects , lower-middle class in urban China is facing serious buyers ability to pay . How to solve the housing problem of the low-income groups in China town , has become an urgent need to address the social problems , it has a direct impact on social stability and sustainable economic development . In this paper, the economics of housing supply and demand theory as a foothold in China's urban low-income groups as the research object , using the price earnings ratio indicators purchasing power of low-income groups in urban China , to do the research and analysis from the following aspects : first , based on market supply and demand theory , China's urban low-income sectors of the housing market the supply current situation as well as the supply structural condition of analysis; second, the use of price earnings ratio theory , analysis and study of the current situation of China's urban low income group housing purchasing power shows that China's urban low - income limited income housing purchasing power ; combined mechanism of China 's housing market and housing system of China's urban low-income sectors of the housing purchasing power of influencing factors analysis ; Finally , for this stage constraints towns the main factors in the purchasing power of low-income groups , solve specific programs and tried to formulate policies for the relevant departments , and adjust the plan to provide help . The majority of China's urban housing problems of low-income groups can not completely rely on market mechanisms to establish a balance between economic and social improvement of housing supply system is the key to solve the problem of low-income housing , and reasonable prices income ratio is a fundamental increase in the purchasing power of low-income housing .
