Abstract


Samuel Barber is famous contemporary composer , hailed as the outstanding representatives of the New Romantic period . The his creation involves a wide range , but in all creation , only one for cello and piano for the Sonata . Required track of as many international cello competition , even though this piece on the 6th Sonata in foreign countries enjoy a very important position , but very few systems research on this work . This article by summarizing the existing literature at home and abroad , and summarizes the learning experience of my own analysis of the first works from five main aspects : First, the by summed domestic existing literature , overview of the life of Samuel Barber writing style , through the translation of foreign monographs to understand the creative background of Samuel Barber cello and piano Sonata , as well as the impact the tracks created two important musicians , concluded the writing style of this piece . Third, by listening to compare different versions of the audio data , find loyal to the the composer intended meaning of the best ways of playing . Fourth, the analysis of works of musical structure , further thorough understanding of this sonata ; combined playing experience , from the interpretation of this piece played piano angle . V.
