Abstract


With the development of communication technology , simple voice services have been unable to meet the user's needs into the development and use of a growing number of IMS data services . But most of the IMS data services only applies to the particular network architecture and terminal equipment , which hinder the fast and wide application of new IMS business in the industry . In order to achieve the interoperability of IMS data services , GSMA organization through the integration of existing IMS standards such as IETF, OMA, 3GPP, GSMA to develop the interoperability of IMS communication standard RCS (Rich Communication Suite, Rich Communication Suite ) , the aim is user to provide rich communication services experience , so that users RCS business around the world freely communicate through any carrier network and terminal equipment . This paper study released in December 2008 the first edition of the RCS technical standards , design and implementation of the RCS business in accordance with this standard . In this standard , RCS business include enhanced phonebook , enhanced information , file transfer , and content sharing . Enhanced phonebook Presence business expansion , the reference standard OMA SIMPLE protocol presented as well as the group management functions ; enhance the information that IM session mode , including 1-1 chat as well as 1-many function reference standard for the OMA in SIMLE protocol IM part , the main achievement of the establishment of the the MSRP connection and call MSRP the stack transfer news content ; file Transfer content sharing refers to establish a session in the session or in a separate file contents transmission process similar 1-1 chat ; photo sharing and sharing of audio and video , the reference standard by the GSMA to develop , the article focuses on its ability to obtain and session establishment function . This article first briefly introduces the IMS / SIP technology , and RCS business development status , of standard IMS client specifications , gives the software architecture of the IMS client . And detailed study of Standards and Technology , the the RCS business architecture as well as the RCS business involving a the RCS business in the SIP / IMS terminal functional modules , designed on the basis of the business structure of each functional module SIP signaling process , then , the various functional modules is achieved. Finally, on RCS business function test , and this article summarize the prospects of the commercial prospects of the RCS business .
